Cosmetics Alliance will be hosting a free webinar with the Director General of Cosmetics Europe, John Chave and CA’s Regulatory Director, Beta Montemayor, to discuss the European Chemical Agency’s (ECHA) recently published Final Opinions from the RAC and SEAC Committees on the European Proposed Restrictions on intentionally added microplastics. This is an important development on the restriction process for intentionally added microplastics that you don’t want to miss!

John Chave
Director General, Cosmetics Europe
John was educated at the Universities of Sheffield and Exeter in the UK. He is a lawyer by training and has worked in the health field in both London and Brussels. He was Secretary General of the Pharmaceutical Group of the European Union (PGEU), a post he held from 2006 to 2015. Since then, he has been Director General of Cosmetics Europe.
Beta Montemayor
Vice-President; Director, Science, Regulation & Market Access, Cosmetics Alliance Canada
Beta is a graduate of the University of Guelph. He is a toxicologist and risk assessor by training, bringing over 20 years of experience as a regulatory scientist and technical consultant to the specialty chemicals, cosmetic, personal care, and health products industries.
